Job Description:1) Person will be mainly working in greenhouse.2) Should maintain appropriate agro climatic conditions in the greenhouse for a particular crop, agronomy of the crop, planting, plant protection and plant care, seed harvesting, processing, packing and labeling, and taking observations and recording data related to plants.3) Should interact with greenhouse staff (greenhouse technicians), research associates and scientists to understand their plant research requirements and organizing the same with help of greenhouse technicians.4) Should assist Research scientists and Research associates in planning and executing the planned experiments.5) Should also assist greenhouse operations manager in organizing the greenhouse supplies, waste disposal and maintenance of greenhouse facilities.
Candidate Profile:
1) Bachelor degree in Life sciences (B.Sc.) / Agricultural Sciences specializing in Biotechnology/ botany/ plant sciences/genetics/Microbiology/B.Tech Biotechnology with 1-2 years working experience in greenhouse or field would be an added advantage.(Master degree holders need not apply)2) Should have ability to get along with others and work in a team, communicate clearly and having a bent of mind to learn new things and a keen observer.
