Job Description
1. Management of regulatory activities for assigned projects. 2. Preparation of outlines, summaries, status reports, charts, and tables for distribution and communication to other departments on legal and regulatory matters. 3. Interaction with key members of the Production, EHS, Legal, QA/QC and technical service teams. 4. Responsibility for planning, preparation, coordination and submission of Pre-registrations and compliant with laws and guidelines by implementing new legislation concerning aroma ingredients. 5. Aid General Manager - QS in tracking of competitive and regulatory information. 6. Assist in the development of regulatory SOPs. 7. Keeping abreast of the continuing changes within all the hazardous material regulations. 8. Helping company in identifying all applicable DOT interpretations and the penalties and enforcement to ensure that company is in full compliance with all its shipments. 9. Liaisoning with external laboratories on issues like Toxicological studies etc.
Desired Profile
The candidate should be responsible for the timely coordination and preparation of document packages/ dossiers and providing all customers and regulatory agencies with consistent and compliant product safety and legislative information / data, promptly to meet global commercial, creation, and research initiatives. Candidates with experience in manufacturing organizations, preferably pharma, fragrance & flavor chemicals with excellent documentation skills. Candidates with projects assigned to REACH will be an added advantage.
