Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a position of Senior Research Fellow under a DST-Govt.of India-funded project entitled ‘Production of Lactic acid in membrane-integrated hybrid reactor system- A green technology approach’ under the guidance of Prof.P.Pal.Position: Senior Research FellowAd No: NITD/ ChE/DST-SERC/GC/2009/1Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/ Bio-chemical Engineering/ Bio-Technology/Environmental Engineering/ or Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Pharmacy/ Environmental Science/ Bio-informatics with strong computational capability. GATE-qualified candidates will get preference. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2009 and expecting final results shortly may also apply, however, their appointment may be provisional subject to satisfying minimum qualification within one month of selection.Fellowship: Rs.15000/ p.m. + HRA @Rs.4500/ p.m. Total Rs. 19,500/- p.m.(consolidated)for M.E./M.Tech and for others as per relevant DST norms.Duration: 3 years, Candidates joining as SRF may register for Ph.D. work under the same guide.
