Position Description:
Expert identification and annotation of carbohydrate-active enzymes in
fungal genomes, with an emphasis on plant biomass degradation, and
the
improvement of existing tools for functional annotation using the
resources of the CAZy database (http://www.cazy.org).
The candidate should have a bioinformatics background, programming
experience (Perl) and database interaction (SQL) and/or knowledge on
carbohydrate-active enzymes being definite assets.
