Walk in Interview for M.Sc at Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal

Walk-in-interview is proposed to be held at Central Soil Salinity Research Institute,Zarifa Farm, Kachhwa Road, Karnal 132 001 (Haryana) on 11 August 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for the posts to fill up the contractual/temporary posts of SRF and JRF under the following projects:


Funding Agency: IIRS(NRSC) Funded Project on National Vegetation Carbon Pool Assessment (Duration up to June 2010 )


Name Of Post: JRF (1)


Qualification: MSc in Forestry/Agroforestry/Botany


Allowances: Rs. 12,000/- +HRA as per rules

Funding Agency: ACIAR Australia Funded Project on Wheat Improvement for Waterlogging, Salinity and Element Toxicities in India and Australia.


1. Name Of Post: SRF (1)


Qualification: MSc in Plant Breeding/Genetics/Agriculture Botany or Plant Sciences with experience in Crop Breeding.
Desirable: Experience in crop breeding/ genetic resources with special reference to wheat and salt stress.


Allowances:Rs. 12,000/- + HRA for 1st & 2nd years,Rs. 14,000/- + HRA for 3rd year.

Qualification: MSc in Plant Physiology/Botany/Agriculture Botany
Desirable: Experience in Stress Physiology.


Allowances:Rs. 12,000/- + HRA for 1st & 2nd years,Rs. 14,000/- + HRA for 3rd year.

Qualification: MSc in Soil Science/ Agriculture Chemistry/ Environmental Science.
Desirable: Experience in Soil Science Research with special reference to wheat and salt stress.  


Allowances:Rs. 12,000/- + HRA for 1st & 2nd years,Rs. 14,000/- + HRA for 3rd year.
