A WALK-IN-INTERVIEW would be held on 25th July 2009 at 10AM at above address for the following posts of Research Associate (RA) . The responsibilities include assisting the scientists in carrying out research in the laboratory and field, computation of data and report writing. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience on recent statistical software and GIS. The duration of the project is for three years.

Project Title: “Assessment of quality and resilience of soils in diverse agro-ecosystems”.
Qualification: Postgraduate Agriculture or Social Science.Preference be given to candidates with specialization Soil Science /Agronomy/Soil and Water Conservation experience in GIS.
Salary: Rs.17000/- for M.Sc and Rs.18000/- for Ph.D. + HRA admissible
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & Women and 3 years for OBC candidates)
The above post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The place of work is CRIDA,Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad but project work involves extensive travel. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
