Job requirement
The applicant should be capable of carrying independent survey and collection of samples throughout the country besides handling different laboratory, field and glasshouse experimentations of plant pathology.
Salary
Rs. 12000/-P.M. + HRA for Ist and 2nd year, Rs.14000/- P.M.+ HRA for 3rd year.
Essential M.Sc.(Ag.) Plant Pathology/M.Sc.Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology (100 marks) from a recognized university.
Desirable:
a) Experience of working on fungal pathogens preferably leaf spots including culturing,evaluation and maintenance of fungal cultures.
b) Good practical knowledge of computer use.
Age limit: As on 1.1.2009 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates.

Terms & Conditions
1. Above positions are purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the projects.
2. Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
3. Place of work will be IIPR, Kanpur.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview.
5. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.
6. No objection certificate from the Employer/University, incase he/she is in employment elsewhere/doing Ph.D.
7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
8. The Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
