Postdoc (2-3 yr) and PhD research positions in RNA bioinformatics

Non-coding RNAs have appeared as an abundant class of genes with numerous roles
in the cell. The projects will involve RNA structure prediction, prediction of
RNA interactions and prediction of structured RNAs in genomic sequence.
Furthermore, the projects will also involve construction of interaction
networks.

Candidates should have a background in one of the following or similar areas:
computational biology, bioinformatics, computer science, biology, physics,
engineering and chemistry.

The candidates should also have solid experience with at least one (or similar)
of the languages, C, C++ or Java. Experience with Linux, as well as shell and
Perl (or similar) scripting and SQL is an advantage.

- Complete list of (peer reviewed) publications. In this list papers from
international peer reviewed journals (in english) should clearly appear
first.

The positions are expected to start in November at latest.
