Job Description
Discussing and coordinating with R&D personnel to identify IP prospects for the company. Patentability analysis of proposed invention on grounds of novelty and inventive features. Preparing patent drafts. Coordinating with appointed firms and patent offices in prosecution of patent applications. Responding to examination reports. Ensuring application and renewal deadlines are observed. Searching patent databases and published non-patent literature and compilation of search reports. IP Review of biological drug products/process and identification of potential launch timelines. Analyze patent claims; prepare infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate statements. Preparing drafts for opposition filings and proceedings against claims that could be invalidated Identifying patent equivalents and status evaluation (global).
