Job Description:
1) Drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications.
2) Carrying out structure searches, analyzing patents, rendering patentability/ non-infringement/ freedom to operate opinions, IP Due diligence for in-licensing or M&A, competitor portfolio monitoring and analysis.
Candidate Profile:
1) Post Graduation or Ph.D in Chemistry with 2-5 yrs of experience in New Chemical Entities research (Drug discovery).
2) Computer skills, structure search, good writing and analytical skills, patent drafting, analyzing patents and rendering opinions and good knowledge of chemistry.
3) Good knowledge of Indian and Foreign Patent Law, experience in co-ordinating patent prosecution with Indian and foreign patent offices.
Qualification in Patent Law would be an added advantage
