Postdoctoral positions in Molecular Angiogenesis

The Molecular Angiogenesis Division at the Institute for Cancer Research of the University of Torino Medical School
is offering a 3 years position at the post-doctoral level. Salary will be defined on the basis of previous experience

Work:The Division is focused on the in vitro and in vivo biological activities, mechanisms of action and signal transduction pathways of different angiogenic mediators including Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, Angiopoietins andSemaphorins. In particular we are interested to study the role of semahorins in determining the vascular tree trajectories and the influence of transmembrane proteins in the activity and specificity of VEGF receptor-2 and Tie-2, the
angiopoietin receptor.

Requirements: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or similar degree. Prior experience in molecular biology, mammalian cells culture and basic protein chemistry is required.

The IRCC is a private, non-profit basic and clinical research institute affiliated with the University of Torino School of
Medicine. It hosts one of the Harvard-Armenise Foundation Centers For Advanced Scientific Research. It fosters an
interdisciplinary team of established investigators working at the interface of molecular biology and medicine.
