Bose Institute, founded in 1917 by Sir Jagadis Chandra Bose, is a premier institution for basic and applied research in Physical and Biological Sciences as well as inter-disciplinary sciences. Qualification: PhD in respective area

Research Areas: 

(i) Improvement of Plants: Biotechnological, Genomic and Proteomic Approach

(ii) Protein Structure, Function and Engineering

(iii) Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

(iv) Molecular Medicine

(v) Microbial Genomics and Infection Biology

(vi) Development of Systems Biology and 

The selection process would continue until all available vacancies are filled. Interested candidates should send their detailed CV, list of publications, names and addresses of at least 4 senior scientists who have agreed to serve as confidential referees, a brief description of research experience and a concise plan of the proposed research to be pursued at Bose Institute, if selected. The application should be sent both by e-mail to faculty-search@boseinst.ernet.in and a hard copy to Faculty Search, C/O Director’s Office, Bose Institute at the above address.
