Applications are invited for two positions of Project Assistant under "Modulating Bio-farming Oriented Rural Livelihood through Bio-technologica! Approach - Based Micro-enterprising among farmers by Training-cum-FicId Demonstration" project funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi on consolidated salary of Rs. 8000/-pm on purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
Application on plain paper on the prescribed proforma as given below along with attested conies of documents/certificates should reach within 15 days of the advertisement to Prof. H. B. Singh, Principal Investigator, Mycology and Plant Pathology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing in the interview.
Candidates must bring with them their certificates in original at the time of interview for verification.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc.(Ag) in Plant Pathology/ M. Sc. in Botany /M. Sc. in Biotechnology or M. A. with Diploma in Social Works with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of biopesticides and bioinputs, setting of field trials and skill to interact with farmers. The age of the candidate should not be exceeding 28 years. A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to Female/ SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates as per GOI rules.
