Job Description
Responsible for direct technical supervision of assigned projects including bioanalytical assay method development, validation and routine batch sample analysis, applying various analytical techniques. This includes assembling all necessary resources and equipment, supervising assigned project analytical assistants, scientists and ensuring that the projects are conducted in full compliance with Good Laboratory Practices, established Standard Operating Procedures, Regulatory Guidance(s) and Safe Work Procedures. Responsible for the technical interpretation and review of the analytical data and completing all required laboratory documentation and reports. Responsible for technical training to analytical assistants, scientists in technical and procedural processes as and when required. Job Accountabilities: • Supervises all technical aspects of the assigned projects, in the conduct of Bioanalytical method development, validation and routine batch sample analysis of biological samples. • Works with assigned staff to prepare project records, other laboratory documents e.g. instrument logbook entries, calibration reports/status etc., and reviews. Reviews project-specific laboratory documents including lab record books, analytical data, project reports and forms or memos. • Responsible for preparation of project-specific laboratory reports and other documentation required for regulatory submission. • Reviews the documentation generated by direct reports. • Plans and monitors assigned project timelines. Ensures the completion of the assignments in a timely manner. Prepares project status reports and Keep informed to senior analyst/Manager bio analytical • Assists in the development and revision of laboratory policies and Standard Operating Procedures. • Assists in the training of laboratory personnel regarding instrumentation, Good Laboratory Practices and Safe Work procedures and practices. • Ensures that all work is preformed in compliance with all pertinent SOP, GLPs, GALP and Safe Work Practices. • Also responsible for procurement and maintenance of Laboratory chemicals, solvents, columns, working/reference standards and biological matrices required to conduct bio study. • To maintain awareness of recent trends and advances in bioanalytical research. • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Desired Profile
• M.Sc. / M. Pharm /Ph.D • 5 to 7 years experience in a Bioanalytical Laboratory. • Previous experience in supervising and training of others • Computer skills in laboratory data acquisition software(s), spreadsheets and word processing.
