Ocimum Biosolutions - Manager - Inside Sales

Job Description:
1) Mine existing clients (Account/Relationship Management) and identify new clients (Market Research Skills) for Ocimum’s products and services.
2) provide support to the field sales force with the objective to meet and exceed the aggressive annual sales targets.
3) Attract new clients and deepen relationship with existing clients.
4) Manage the inside-sales team assigning them targets, providing them leads, tracking progress and resolving issues in real time (Resource Management and Financial Management).
5) Plan, organize and execute sales events and prepare collateral (Sales and Marketing Skills).
6) Ability to close promising sales opportunities in a way which derives maximum value possible for Ocimum (Negotiation Skills).
Candidate Profile:
1) Postgraduate in lifescience with Minimum of six years of relevant experience in life sciences related industries.
2) Must have met and exceeded annual sales targets of more than 1 M USD.
3) Demonstrated ability to manage sales-teams of minimum 5 resources.
4) Deep contacts in the life sciences fields with academics and key decision makers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and related industries.
5) Exceptional client management skills.
6) Good negotiation skills.
7) Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
