Students who have completed at least a four year UG degree in computer science, bioinformatics or closely related discipline from a reputed university and secured very high grades are invited to contact Dr Madhu Chetty, Deputy head of school of Information Technology for information regarding application for scholarships for a PhD program. The scholarships are very competitive. Students should be interested to work in the area of applying computational intelligence techniques (Bayesian network, genetic algorithm, agents based modeling, fuzzy logic, causal models, signal processing etc) to bioinformatics problems.
