Scientist (Reproductive Biology)
A motivated and skilled scientist is required to be part of AgResearch’s
Reproductive Biology Section at Invermay (near Dunedin, New Zealand), to
be involved in leading some of the projects focussing on identifying
genetics for reproductive efficiency. The main focus will be with
domestic ruminants.
Ideally applicants will have:
* A PhD with a molecular genetics focus and at least 5 years experience
managing projects including management of staff and resources
* A strong foundation in reproductive biology would be beneficial.
* Excellent computer skills, be self-motivated, organised, a team player
yet also able to design experiments and work independently.
* The ability to provide leadership and expertise to allow delivery of
milestones for research contracts.
* The expertise to identify and pursue opportunities for collaborations
and new funding
This position is based at Invermay which is an attractive campus located
in a rural setting, five minutes from Mosgiel and 20 minutes from
