Project positions vacant at BHU,Varanasi | Life Sciences PG's can apply

Applications are invited for One Junior Research Fellow and One Project Fellow for a DST and a UGC Project respectively.The positions are purely temporary and coterminus with the tenure of the project The details of the projects, salary and, terms and conditions are as mentioned below

Name Of Post: JRF

Salary: Rs 12, 000/- pm + admissible HRA for the DST project

Project Title: 'Studies on ureotelic CPS evolution in vertebrates immunological and molecular characterization of CPS I and CPS III in an ureogenic freshwater teleost, Heteropneustes fossilis " (Co-Pi Dr Rainikant Mishra)

Name Of Post: Project Fellow 

Salary:Rs 8000/- pm for the UGC Project 

Title: "Purification, characterization and expression of arginase isoenzymes in an ureogenic freshwater air-breathing teleost, Heteropneustes fossilis An evolutionary approach"

Qualification: M Sc. in Zoology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or related subjects with at least 55% marks, and age below 28 years (33 years for physically disabled women & SC/ST candidates).

Desirable: Candidates having NET/GATE qualification and experience of techniques in proteomics enzymology immunology bioinformatics and molecular biology shall be preferred. 

Date: ASAP

All other things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Applications with complete bio-data attested copies of the certificates mark sheets (Class 10 onwards), a recent pass port-size photograph and two confidential letters of reference from persons associated with the candidates academic activities must reach
