It is proposed to fill up the temporary and time bound positions of two Senior Research Fellow on contractual basis under the following project on the basis of walk-in-interview. The eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for interview at DCFR (ICAR) on 20.08.2009 at 11.00 AM.
Project Title: NAIP funded project on “Bioprospecting of genes and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance (Cold tolerance-Fish)”.
Post: Senior Research Fellow (Two Posts)
Qualifications : M.F.Sc (Aquaculture, Fish & Fishery Science, Fish Genetics & Breeding) M.Sc./M.V.SC/M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Animal Science/Life Science.
Experience: Experience and knowledge of molecular biology techniques used in allele mining transformation and cloning
Emoluments: Rs. 12000/- + HRA p.m. (as per ICAR Guidelines)
Age: Below 35 years as on the date of interview
Terms and Conditions:
1. The posts are purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
2. The applicants must bring their bio-data (affixed with recent passport size photograph) along with original and photocopies of marksheets and certificates of all examinations passed.
3. The place of work of Senior Research Fellows in DCFR Bhimtal.
4. No T.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
5. The selection of candidate(s) dosen’t entail on them any right for absorption/ regularization at DCFR (ICAR), Bhimtal or any other sister concern including ICAR Headquarter.
6. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
