Microbial Technology Workshop at Dolphin Institute of biomedical and natural sciences

"Workshop on Microbial Technology" and "Hands on training on Fermentation Technology" being organized by Dolphin 1PG) Institute of Bio-medical and Natural Sciences, Dehra Dun in partnership with Forest Research Institute, Dehra Dun on October 10th 11th, 2009 and October 7th 9th, 2009

Microbiology had, and will continue to have a profound impact on society. There is no field of human endeavour, from industry to agriculture, food processing toshelter or clothing, health and medicine which not influence by microbiology.

The two days workshop will be a platform to enrich the knowledge in Microbial Technology and secure an opportunity to interact with scientists and academicians with vast experience in the field of microbiology from various universities, institutes and industry.

Fermentation Technology, a vibrant and fast growing area, is an important offshoot of the microbial research, contributing through ever increasing processes and products. The three days hands on training programme in
Fermentation Technology preceding the workshop will provide a unique opportunity to the students orienting them to the needs of the industry. For providing ideal exposure the numbers of seats have been limited to 40 participants only.

12 hard & 1 soft copy of Abstract (maximum 200 words in single spacing, font Times New Roman, size 12) must be submitted to the Organizing Secretary by 7th September 2009.

Registration:

Rs.1200 when registered before Aug 31, Rs .500 when registered before Sep 30,Rs 2000 when registered on spot. 

Accommodation:
Can be arranged on request. Send your requirement before Sept. 30 '09
Accommodation Charges : Students : Rs. 150 per day (Dormitory)
Faculty : Rs. 25D per day (Sharing basis)
