Within the Seventh Framework Programme – “People” – Marie Curie Actions – COFUND, the Autonomous Province of Trento has launched the following initiative:
The Trentino programme of research, training and mobility of post-doctoral researchers.
This initiative will fund a number of projects:
incoming mobility grant: for the funding of research projects to be carried out within the Province of Trento by an individual post-doctoral researcher or team of researchers from within or outside the EU (2-3 year project; individual researcher: 50.000 €/year; team:150.000 €/year)
re-integration grant: for the funding of projects aimed at researchers wishing to return definitively to the Province of Trento after a period outside of the country (2-3 year project; individual researcher: 65.000 €/year; team: 200.000 €/year)
Research projects must be presented through the host institutes which operate within the Province of Trento. Within this programme, the Research and Innovation Centre of the Fondazione Edmund Mach (research.iasma.it) invites post-doctoral researchers to submit high quality proposals in the following areas
Biodiversity
Bioinformatics and mathematical biology
Biology of agricultural and food products; technology for the transformation of agricultural and food products
Computational biology
Environmental biology:
i. paleoenvironment and anthropic landscape;
ii. forestry, wood production and use;
iii. freshwater ecosystems
Genomics and post-genomics of grapevine and apple
Nutritional genomics and human health
Zoonoses, host-parasite systems and human health
